Named after the two neighboring peaks on the edge of San Francisco, Twin Peaks offers absolutely striking views of the city. To reach the viewpoint, you drive through a few neighborhoods and wind up a road that deposits you towards the top of the peaks. The drive gets prettier each second as you climb up higher above the city.

I have visited Twin Peaks a few times, and have been fortunate to visit both during the day and at night. A trip during the day grants a gorgeous view of the districts in the city. Alternatively, a trip during the night allows you to see all the bright lights throughout the city and gives you a peak of San Francisco’s night life. Regardless of when you visit, Twin Peaks offers stunning views of a hub in the Bay Area.
