Located along the central coast of California, Grover Beach is a dog-friendly, bonfire-friendly location. Sandwiched between Pismo Beach and Oceano Dunes Recreation Area, Grover is a fun place to visit during the day or at night. With affordable passes that allow you to drive onto the beach, you can have have fun driving along the ocean and taking in the views.
With Grover Beach being dog-friendly, you can bring your furry companion along on your adventure. I brought my dog with me and she had a ball just running around and playing in the sand.
If you decide to drive onto the beach and are coming later in the day, I recommend bringing some wood and supplies to have a bonfire. Add a few chairs and snacks, and you have a fun evening around the fire all ready to go. Grover Beach provides countless recreational opportunities for a great day at the beach.
